Our Cluster Schools

We are part of the Gwernyfed cluster of schools, which includes:

• Archdeacon Griffiths Church in Wales Primary School
• Clyro Church in Wales Primary School
• Hay County Primary School
• Llangors Church in Wales Primary School
• Ysgol y Mynydd Du Primary School

We also warmly welcome pupils from pupils outside our cluster throughout the year.

We work closely with our cluster to ensure a seemly academic and wellbeing transition for all our pupils. For the many pupils who join us form out of our formal cluster we actively work with their teachers, parents leadership teams and children to ensure good bonds are formed and a positive experience is ensured.

A wide range of activities take place including:

• Cluster expressive arts events
• Cluster sporting and wellbeing events
• Shadow days
• Learning and teaching experience based at the primary and secondary schools
• Trips and events
• Open evenings and events
• Listening to learners
